Jainism
is a religion without a belief in god. The jains believe that neither perception not
inference can prove the existence of God. The concept of Jainism is very extreme that they
wear a Muslin cloth against their mouth to prevent any germs or insets from entering it. |

Lord
Mahavir is linked to Jainism. Lord Mahavir and Gautam Buddha have a remarkably similar
history. Mahavir has from a royal family. He was a prince of Bihar. At the age of 30 he
renounced of his family and his luxurious life and became a monk. He spent 12 years in
mediation to overcome his material desires. After 12 year attained realization. Which is
known as Keval Jnana. |
Teachings of Jainism
The Jains were the first to make non - violence a role of life. Through the
practice of 3 jewels a person can overcome the forces of all passions, karmas and attain
liberation. Once the soul attains the four fold perfection of infinite knowledge ,infinite
faith, infinite power and infinite bliss.
