Ingredients
2 cups rice
3 1/2 - 4 cups sour curd
salt to taste
1/2" piece ginger
5 green chillies finely chopped
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp split black gram dal
Pinch of asafoetida
1/2 small carrot
1/4 cup chopped coriander

Procedure

1.

Overcook the rice sightly mash while too hot allow it to cool.

2.

Beat and lightly add salt and blend with rice

3.

Add ginger, green chillies to rice.

4.

Heat oil and season with mustard seeds. Black gram dal carry leaves and asafoetida.

5. Pour over the rice and refrigerate rice
6. Garnish with carrot and coriander
