A smart girl - Mara Wilson (from Mrs.Doubtfire) stars as Matilda who's badly treated by her parents, her brother and the evil school principal, but she gets help of her best friend and a great teacher.

She realises that she doesn't have to get angry to get even. Matilda is a great comedy, with a  message  that Children are #1 and that to become a part of the child's world the adults must respect the child.
