Willy  is  back with the fun and excitement. The 7000 pound Whale is  a  part  of  the   thrilling family  adventure. Willy's friend Jesse (Jason James Richter) now a teenager, has settled into life  with his parents, has an eye for girls and copes with his half brother Elvis.

He  never  expects to   see  Willy. But  during  a  Pacific  Northwest vacation trip, Jesse meets a girl and to his delight, encounters Willy and his family!

The Whales are trapped when a tanker runs aground and spills oil. Jesse  and  Willy's  reunion  suddenly   becomes  a  bid to survive.
