Definition           When the smaller branches of the Bronchial tree of the lungs are inflamed, it is called Bronchiolitis.
Susceptibility    Greatest in those under 2 years, especially under 6 months or with a family history of allergy.
Season               Any change of season can bring the  infection.
Cause                 Caused  by  various viruses, commonly the Respiratory Synctial Virus (RSV) or parainfluenza virus (PIV).
Transmission    Via respiratory  secretions  or  direct contact.
