PAPAD POTATO ROLLS

Preparation time: 30 minutes.
Cooking time : 20 minutes.
No of rolls : 20-25 rolls.

Ingredients:

8-10 papads
4 boiled potatoes
2 green chillies, finely chopped.
½ teaspoon chilli powder juice of 1 lemon.
2 tablespoons chopped coriander
½ teaspoon garam masala,
½ teaspoon sugar
salt to taste.

Other Ingredients:
A few tablespoons of gram flour (besan ) Oil for deep frying.

Cooking Process:
1. Mash the potatoes. Add the green chillies, chilli powder, lemon juice, coriander, garam masala, sugar and salt. Mix well.
2. Divide the potato mixture into several portions and shape each portion into a long roll of about the same length as the diameter of the papads.
3. Dip the papads in water for a few seconds.
4. Put a potato roll on the corner of each papad and roll up.
5. Seal the edges with a paste made of equal volumes of gram flour and water.
6. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Cut into small pieces and serve hot.
