CHEESY ONION FINGERS

Preparation time: 20 minutes.
Cooking time : 40 minutes
No of fingers : about 30.

Ingredients:

A few bread slices.
2 carrots
3 onions
100 grams cabbage
1 small bunch of spring onions.
4 green chillies chopped
3 teaspoons of tomato ketchup
2 teaspoons of chilli sauce
175 grams of grated cooking cheese
2 tablespoons of butter.
Salt to taste.

Cooking Process:
1. Chop all the vegetables finely. Chop the spring onion leaves also.
2. Put the butter in a vessel and fry the onions for sometime
3. Add the remaining vegetables and fry for at least 5 minutes.
4. Add half of the cheese. Then add the tomato ketchup, chilli sauce and salt. Cook it for a few minutes.
5. Arrange the bread slices over a greased baking dish and bake in a hot oven at 400 f . for 5 Minutes.
6. The little mixture should then be put over each slice and then sprinkle the remaining cheese over them.
7. Bake in a hot oven at 400 f. for 25 minutes or until crisp.
8. Cut into fingers. Serve hot.
