Your baby can open his eyes and will turn his head towards the source of any light.
His sensory organs are well developed. His finger nails are budding. The crown to rump
length of baby is 10.4 inches (26 cms) and weighs about 2.7 pounds (1250 gms).

In this week you could feel the movement more strongly. Movement of the baby called
quickening, is one of the more precious parts of pregnancy. The brain is growing rapidly
and the head is getting longer to accommodate it. The crown to rump length is little over
10.8 inches (27 cms). Your baby weighs about 3 pounds.
WEEK
31
From now onwards your baby gains weight faster than he'll increase in length. By now the
baby's lungs and digestive tract are nearly mature. The baby is continuing to grow. It
weighs about 3.5 pounds (1600 gms). The crown to rump length is 11.2 inches (28 cms).
WEEK
32
By this week the baby's movements are probably changing. They seem less frequent and less
forceful. This is since the uterus is filled out, so there is no chance for somersaults
anymore. The baby's organs are combining to mature. The crown to rump length is over 11.6
inches (29 cms). The baby weighs almost 4 pounds (1800 gms).
