WEEK 13
This week is the beginning of the fetal period. The fetus has doubled in length. Your baby's face looks more human like. Eyes, which started out on the side of head moves closer together on the face. The Ears come to be in their normal position on the side of the head. Intestines initially develop in a large swelling in the umbilical card outside the fetal body. The crown to rump length is 2.6 to 3.1 inches (65 to 78 mm). Its weight is 0.5 to 0.7 ounce (14 to 20 gms). Its about the size of a peach.


WEEK 14
In this week, the sexual development continues. The external genitalia are developing more definitely. It is becoming easier to determine male from female by looking at the external genitalia. The neck of the body continues to get longer. The chin no longer rest on the chest. The crown to rump length is 3.2 to 4.5 inches (80 to 113 mm). It weighs 0.9 ounce (25 gms). Your baby is the size of your fist.


WEEK 15
Rapid growth of your baby continues. By this time, your baby may be sucking its thumb. Its skin is very thin, Blood vessels can be seen through the skin at this point of development. Fine hair covers the baby's body. The Bones that have already formed are getting harder and retaining calcium very rapidly. The crown to rump length is 3.7 to 4.1 inches (92 to 103 mm). The fetus weighs about 1.75 ounces (50 gms).


WEEK 16
During this week, movement can be easily seen through ultrasound. There is fine hair on your baby's head. The finger nails are well formed. The crown to rump length of your baby is 4.3 to 4.6 inches (108 to 116 mm). Weight is about 2.8 ounces (80 gms).
