This nutritious, refreshing cool drink
provides a good amount of Vitamin A, Iron and Calcium. It is extremely good for growing
children.
Ingredients
| 1 cup fresh mint leaves |
½ cup jaggery |
| ¼ cup tulsi leaves |
¼ teaspoon citric acid |
| 4 tablespoons lime juice |
A little water |
2 teaspoons rose water |
Salt to taste |
Procedure
a. |
Make a syrup of jaggery and water. Strain it. Add citric
acid to it. |
b. |
Make a paste of mint leaves, tulsi leaves, lime juice, rose
water and salt. |
c. |
Mix the above, stir well. |
d. |
Keep to cool, serve chill. |

calcium, iron, carbohydrates, vitamin C and fibre.
Ingredients
| 2 cups milk |
| 1 small apple or ½ a large apple |
| 5 black dates deseeded and finely chopped |
A few drops of vanilla
essence |
Procedure

Soak the dates in ½ cup of warm milk and leave aside for
20 minutes. |

Blend all the ingredients in a liquidiser. |

This is a fibre-laden drink made with
pineapple and celery. This nutritious drink is high in vitamin A and C. Celery provides a
lot of vitamin A. It is rich in iron too.
Ingredients
| 2 cups ripe pineapple |
| 2 tablespoons celery finely chopped |
| 1 teaspoon black salt |
2 cups water |
Procedure

Combine the pineapple and celery with two cups
of water, liquidise till it becomes a puree. |

Add black salt and mix well. |

| 200 gms almond soaked and blanched |
5 to 6 pepper corns |
| 100 gms poppy seeds |
300 gms sugar |
| 50 gms melon seeds |
250 ml. water |
| 1 tablespoon aniseeds |
1 litre milk |
| 1 scoop kesar pista ice-cream |

Procedure

Mix poppy seeds, almonds aniseeds,
pepper corns and grind the mixture. |

Make sugar water and add the
ground mixture. Leave overnight. |

Bottle this mixture after
straining it. |

While serving take ½ cup milk and
½ cup water, a cube of ice, 2 tablespoons syrup and ice cream. Blend together. |

| 1 finely chopped green chilly |
½ bottle water |
| .¼ inch finely chopped ginger |
